Worthing College took 2 netball teams to the Hampshire Open netball tournament in Southampton and it was a very successful afternoon.

The defence of Iona, Charlotte, Eli and Grace were working well forcing numerous mistakes from the opposition. A 10-4 win over Peter Symonds and 22-1 victory over Alton followed with some great shooting by Betsy and Livvy, and some good feeding by Bethen. A close match against a strong Barton Peveril team resulted in a 9-5 win and then a convincing win against Itchen completed a great day for the team.

The 2nd team also had a great start beating Brockenhurst 10-1 and QMC 9-0 with some great shooting by Lexi and Holly and superb defending by Lauren and Phoebe. Next up was a convincing 13-0 win against St Vincents with some great centre court play by Zoe, Sarah and Becky.
