The Worthing College netball teams travelled to Basingstoke for their final event of the season. Today was the Hampshire Versatility Tournament which was great fun.

The first team started off with a win against Barton Peveril showing how versatile the girls were with some great shooting from Iona and Charlotte in particular. The 2nd team had a tough opener against Peter Symonds and then also lost to a strong Itchen team.

The first team had a very close match v Itchen College which had some very interesting shooting combinations! The team battled hard but lost the match by 1 goal. The second team had a convincing win against St Vincents followed up with another against Alton.

The final first team match was against Peter Symonds which was a great game. Cally was shooting well and Iona intercepting numerous balls in defence to increase the lead for Worthing. The girls continued to dominate and won the match 16-10. Meanwhile the 2nd team won their final match easily against Bay House.

The 2nd team finished 3rd in their Competition, a good result for the team. The 1st team Competition was decided on goal difference as Worthing, Itchen and Peter Symonds had all lost one match. Luckily for us Worthing easily had the best goal difference, Itchen 2nd and Peter Symonds 3rd.

Another win for the girls to add to their collection, what a season they have had.
