An important day for the Worthing College netball squad as it was the Sussex Cup quarter finals.

The 1st team were up against BHASVIC 1st team who we knew had some quality players. The girls started slowly making a few mistakes and missing shots which BHASVIC capitalised on – qtr time 8-6 to BHASVIC. Coach Tina made some changes and told the girls to increase the intensity plus mark tightly throughout the court. This had immediate rewards and the girls took the lead – 20-15 at half time.

In the second half the girls relaxed and started to control the game. Some excellent play in particular by Charlotte Stacey and captain Kira Walters created numerous chances for the attack and the Worthing team won the match with a convincing 57-29 result to reach the semi finals.
