Collyers 1st team came to play Worthing College in the Sussex Netball League. The first quarter was very close with some excellent shooting from the Collyers goal attack in particular. It took a while for the Worthing girls to settle but they soon got into their flow – 1st qtr was 10-8 to Worthing.

In the second quarter the match continued to be close with both teams having chances to take control. Ruth was shooting well and some nice feeds in from Livvy – end of first half was 19-16 to Worthing.

Coach Tina changed things around at half time and this had an immediate effect with Charlotte getting numerous interceptions at centre. Livvy and Phillippa were shooting well and the Worthing team started to pull away – end of 3rd quarter was 30-22 to Worthing.

The final quarter was a struggle for the Worthing team as the Collyers team stepped up a gear closing the gap. They managed to hold on to the win – 41-35 final score.
