A Worthing team missing 2 starters found themselves in a scrappy game with a physical Bexhill team in the AOC League match today.

Worthing led from the start and It was a classic case of speed overcoming strength as Freddie Boon and Adam Bettridge tormented Bexhill proving to be too quick for their defence.

With 2 players missing, Ricardo Zargo and Oliver Williams found themselves playing extended minutes and proved their worth to the team contributing with fantastic effort on defence, making it difficult for Bexhill.

Worthing were in control the whole game and the boys kept a calm head to maintain the lead late in the game under the leadership of Toby Pennels and Aaron Vincent.

Worthing won 65-50, Freddie Boon led all scorers with 24 points, Adam Bettridge and Toby Pennels both had 16. A great team performance.
