Worthing College Vs Godalming College – ESFA U18 Cup

Worthing started off the game brightly, with good passing and energy. The first goal came from Beth Roe the first of her four, after a good set of quick passes and a shot that went past the Godalming goalkeeper. Another goal involved in the first half was by Abbie Mason, a clearance from Godalming dropped straight at Abbie’s feet who took and touch shot into the bottom right corner. Keavy Booker added to the score line in the first half, with a run from her half to the Godalming penalty area made a quick one two with Sara Tubby and slotted it past the goalkeeper. Valentine Pursey also added to the score line with a long range shot with an unfortunate error from the Godalming goalkeeper that allowed the ball to pass the line. Holly Clarke also added to the score line with a shot from the edge of the box that flew to the top left. The first half ended as the ref blew the whistle.

The second half kicked off, with Goldalmings kick off. Lucy Steel starting her hat trick and starting off the score line in the second half with a received pass, a turn round the Godalming defence and a shot past the keeper. Valentine Pursey added to her scorestreak with another long shot into the bottom right corner. Worthing made a substitution with Sara Tubby and Beth Roe being replaced by Joanna Trivellato and Luiza Carvalho. Sara Tubby also added to the score line after a throw ball from Valentine Pursey and a slot into the bottom corner. The final whistle was blown and the game ended.
