WORTHING COLLEGE SPORTS ACADEMY AWARDS EVENING 2016

On Thursday 5th May Worthing College Sports Academy held their annual awards evening at the Pavilion, Worthing. 300 students and parents attended the evening which was a great success, celebrating the successes of our sports teams throughout the season.

Highlights of the evening were Sports Person of the Year awarded  to Ross Edwards, men’s football for his achievement of playing in the ECFA national team, Sussex Schools U18 squad, English Colleges national squad and Worthing FC 1st XI whilst being on course to achieve a triple distinction in BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport.IMG_0285

Team of the year was awarded to women’s football for winning the ECFA National Cup and the Sussex Cup as well as reaching the play offs in the National Elite League.IMG_0186
