WORTHING COLLEGE NETBALL V BAY HOUSE – A – W 31-13

On a day when raffle tickets sales chose the team, the 10 girl squad performed admirably against Bay House. We were fortunate to play in their brand new sports hall and the game started quite evenly for the first few minutes whilst the girls got used to the different combinations and they had a strong tall defence for us to work against. Yasmin & Charlotte worked extremely well together and we started to take the game away. Sophie Quache worked very hard at  centre and Emily & Rebecca working well to form a good partnership in defense, supported by Faye Murton at WD. First quarter ended 9-4. Changes were made then to enable all 10 players to play at least half a game each, and the 2nd combination got the best result of the day winning that quarter 8-2 to give a half time lead of 17-6. To be fair we were extremely dominant and never looked like losing the game. It was good for the girls to work with different players in different combinations and everyone did their bit and played well.

Final score of 31-13 mom of Rebecca Lloyd.
