Worthing travelled to Cobham, to play Chelsea Academy in the BCS National Cup. The game started off evenly matched before Worthing came out on top as easy winners. The first 10 minutes saw Worthing go 2 up, both goals coming from Hayley Bridge until some miscommunication and defensive errors meant that Chelsea were able to bring the game back to 2-1 before scoring again minutes later to equalise. Worthing then took the lead again with a through ball to Hayley Bridge who went 1v1 before scoring her hat trick. The game remained evenly matched as Chelsea took advantage of a cross to score from close range to bring the game back to 3-3. Worthing kept the pressure on Chelsea with and had many other chances before Worthing took the lead once again from a finish from Hayley Bridge making the score 4-3 at the break.

The second half started with Worthing on the front foot, pressing Chelsea high inside their half which led to Hayley Bridge taking on the Chelsea defence to score two more goals giving her a double hat trick for the game. Worthing were defensively solid in the second half with Molly Towers hardly being tested. Worthing scored again with some good build up play before Annie Rolf took advantage of a 1v1 situation to make the score 7-3. Worthing continued to press Chelsea high until the last minute, creating a handful of chances which were not taken, before unselfish play from Annie Rolf set up Danielle Rowe to make the final result 8-3 after a good performance from everyone at Worthing.
