Exciting opportunity at Worthing College for Women Rugby Players…….

Worthing College is running a women’s rugby team for the 2012/2013 season catering for beginners to experienced players. Competing initially in non-contact games for the first couple of months, players will have the opportunity to progress their game skills, game understanding and condition themselves to play the 7s and 10s contact game for the rest of the season.

Worthing College has a rich tradition of rugby in both the male and female game, and is especially successful in developing rugby players. In the Women’s game players have joined the team with no previous playing ability, but have gone on to play county and regional rugby. For example, Amy Wilson-Hardy progressed through Worthing College to go on to represent the England U20s, and captained the Worthing College team to a top five team in the country at 7s.

If you are keen to get involved or have any questions, please contact Mark Rugman (m.rugman@worthing.ac.uk) or come and find me in office 66 by the back car park.
